My name is Jamil and I'm a Wedding, Portrait and Events Photographer.
I shoot English, Indian, Asian and Ismaili Weddings but I'm always open to photographing something new!
My style is a mixture of reportage,
I wasn't born with a camera in my hand, I discovered I had a gift for taking pictures during my teen years and
I cut my teeth in event photography, photographing lectures, activity camps and landscapes. During college and university I refined my skills and soon after graduating I started photographing Birthdays, Portraits, Engagements and Weddings.
photographer focused on capturing the magical moments from weddings, engagements and portrait sessions and I'm always up for trying something new!
Photography has been my passion for the last 10 years and I have been photographing weddings for the last 5 years.
Photography has opened up many opportunities for me, Some highlights as a photographer, having the opportunity to photograph members of the Royal family and watching countless brides and grooms make their commitment to each other and their friends and family.
Photography is the art of telling stories without words.
A photograph is not just captured by clicking a button. It is captured by taking the memory, emotions and the people around you and most importantly the heart.
My aim is to capture the natural moments, the emotions and of course the personalities of the people in my pictures.
I want to show people how beautiful they are.
I want to inspire hope in my work.
I'm an observer.
A Fly on the wall. I'll let the events unfold naturally.
These are your special moments and I'll do my best to capture them in the most natural way.
I might offer some direction during the posed pictures.
My aim is to capture the emotion.
is a mixture of dramatic, documentary and artistic photography. My aim is to establish a close relationship with my clients as I find this is the best way to create those memories you will look back on as your journey together progresses.
Moments you didn't realise I'd captured and those that you did. The posed group shots and the quiet moments shared between loved ones.
